Well so far I’ve found DreamWorks SKG’s (Spielberg, Katzenberg, Geffen) movies to be of substantially better quality than its major category competitor, Walt Disney Pictures, and this computer animated family comedy is no exception. The movie features a “Big, green, ugly, smelly ogre” named Shrek on a quest to get back his peace and quiet; however this seemingly straightforward mission leads him and his comrade, "Donkey", whom he acquires along the way, to find danger, adventure, action, and ultimately, love. A fun filled adventure for all ages, “Shrek” is one of the more enjoyable movies I have seen this holidays, DreamWorks’ computer animation far outdoes “Disney: Pixar’s”, with much of the animation looking almost real. Starring Mike Myers as “Shrek”, Eddie Murphy as “Donkey”, Cameron Diaz as “Princess Fiona”, and John Lithgow as the evil “Lord Farquaad”, “Shrek” has been a box-office hit all over the world, and is a must-see for anyone who likes to have fun. DreamWorks has also given the green light to a sequel of “Shrek”, however little is know about it.
